Dag van de Sociologie 2015

Op 27 mei 2015 organiseren de Nederlandse Sociologische Vereniging (NSV) en de Vlaamse Vereniging voor Sociologie (VVS) voor de vijftiende keer hun jaarlijkse congres: de Dag van de Sociologie. Op één dag komt een grote diversiteit aan sociologisch onderzoek aan bod. De vijftiende Dag van de Sociologie zal plaatsvinden bij de afdeling Sociologie van de Vrije Universiteit te Amsterdam.

Berlin Summer School in Social Sciences

Conference of the European Sociological Association 2015

The theme for the conference is 'Differences, Inequalities and Sociological Imagination'. Confirmed plenary speakers: Zygmunt Bauman, Professor Emeritus at the University of Leeds; Gurminder K. Bhambra, Professor at the University of Warwick; Arlie R. Hochschild, Professor Emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley; Christopher T. Whelan, Professor at the Queen’s University Belfast & Geary Institute, University College.
This 12th Conference of the European Sociological Association 2015 will take place in Prague. Abstracts konden worden ingezonden tot 15 februari.

Forum International Sociological Association 2016

The Third ISA Forum will be convened in Vienna, Austria, 10-14 July 2016 on the theme “The Futures We Want: Global Sociology and the Struggles for a Better World.” This theme encourages a forward-orientation in empirical, theoretical, and normative research to tackle the problems and opportunities that often cut across borders.
Abstracts (submission: 14 April 2015 - 30 September 2015 24:00 GMT) to be submitted in English, French or Spanish.
