European Societies is the journal of the European Sociological Association (ESA) andis published by Routledge. The journal is in its 12th year and currently publishes fiveissues per year in English.Position: Editor-in-ChiefEuropean Societies is seeking to appoint a competent and committed Editor toreplace the outgoing Editor. The Editor-in-Chief will lead the editorial team. Theinterested person should be a highly respected sociology scholar with significantpublications in monographs and international journals. The Editor's work is voluntaryand it does not carry remuneration. The position is for a four-year period termcommencing in January 2011.Position: Assistant EditorEuropean Societies is seeking to appoint a competent and dedicated Assistant Editorwork closely with the Editor. The position is for a four-year period term commencingin January 2011.Position: Book Reviews EditorEuropean Societies is seeking to appoint a competent, committed and dedicatedBook Reviews Editor to replace the outgoing editor.This editor will be responsible for gathering reviews on books of interest within thebroad area of sociology in Europe. Editor’s duties will be soliciting reviews, offeringeditorial feedback to authors, and helping to format reviews. Duties also includemaintaining contact with publishers to receive new titles, and ensuring that reviewauthors receive copies of reviewed texts.
